  • Really enjoyed the topics of this class - all the speakers were exceptional! I also really enjoyed the additional readings that Pooja sent each week. So much of the material covered helped me to feel more normal about thoughts I'm having and felt more connected to know that I'm not alone in what I'm going through.

  • I love that the sessions were recorded, we could ask questions, there was a spirit of empathy, acceptance, and empowerment, and I really appreciated the financial assistance.

  • I will definitely be taking different steps. This is my first time TTC so I don't have a comparison, but I have lots of great takeaways about things to consider during my GYN appts, feeding the baby and how to support mental well-being during what is a tough time. Like I would have never thought of having a night nurse or someone to help you get enough sleep....but now with this class that is something I will definitely ask for.

  • The class was excellent. The content was very well presented and very clear. I appreciated that you cited research for everything and I was able to look at the original source.

    2020 Course Participant

  • I found the information incredibly relevant to my current pregnancy journey. I am currently taking an antidepressant medication and hearing the facts surrounding different medications taken during pregnancy encouraged feelings of empowerment instead of shame.

  • My behavior has changed in the following ways: 1) I am now working with my OBGyn and mental health NP on a plan for medication treatment and restarting meds prior to delivery. I felt more informed and able to have those discussions based on the course. My OBGyn had suggested we wait and see how I felt after delivery. Given my history, I felt more able to advocate for myself. 2) My partner and I discussed the importance of me prioritizing 5 hrs uninterrupted sleep. We are talking now about how we're going to make that a reality - not sure yet but it helps to start discussing now

  • I found this course to be very valuable. The information covered was in-depth, but was presented in a very accessible manner. As a result of this course, I feel better prepared for the postpartum period, and more equipped to advocate for myself and my mental health in the pregnancy and postpartum period.

  • Wonderful experience with Dr. Pooja, who is so knowledgable, and presents concepts in such a well designed way to help improve our quality of life through education. I definitely believe all pregnant and post partum women can benefit from a course like this especially if they are not receiving any maternal mental health services already. This is an area that needs more attention among maternal health practices and participating in a live group setting helps normalize PMADs. Thank you for setting this up during these times where we need this kind of social support.

  • The value of the course is the combination of the strength and comprehensiveness of the material and her warmth and approachability...definitely a winning combination! I highly recommend this course for pregnant and postpartum mothers and partners.
